One unique feature of the Baja 500 course is that the second half of the race takes the teams from the dry, hot east side of the Baja Peninsula to the fertile fishing villages of the West. The 150 mile journey separates the strong from the weak and challenges even the most experienced drivers. The Monster Energy race team fought against the course and the field of athletes in the final stretch before the finish.
