BJ Baldwin headed to Lucas Oil Off-Road Race in Surprise, AZ
The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series is in full swing, gaining momentum into their second race weekend of the series at the Speedworld track for rounds 3 and 4 in Surprise, Arizona. The series makes it’s first foray into “Grand Canyon” state well known for it’s love of off-road racing and motorsports. Large crowds are expected to come out and cheer, as the 850+ horsepower unlimited trucks battle for off-road supremacy. Arizona is known for its sprawling beautiful deserts and is one of the off-road trifecta states that include Nevada and California.
“I am stoked. I finally get to sink my teeth into some short course racing! Lucas Oil has put together a great series. I only got to race once at Chula Vista before the season was cut short last year, so I am excited to get back to short course racing. Watch and see, there is going to be some door-to-door battling! I promise the fans are going to get their money’s worth,” stated the confident BJ Baldwin.
Come out to the Lucas Oil Off-Road racing series at Speedworld in Surprise, AZ to see all the action first hand. Be sure to come by the General Tire and King Shock booths to meet Ballistic BJ Baldwin and pick up free autographed signature cards and t-shirts while supplies last.

Off-RoadBJ charged the whoops and rocks at the San Felipe 250. He lead the race until race mile 197 where his ring & pinion gave out. One rock can take you from hero to zero just like that. I guess a quarter inch steel plate is no match for mother nature! He still managed a 6th in trophy trucks. We still had a great time, ate great food and were surrounded by nice people. Everywhere we went people offered us beer and food. Their are some sketchy parts of mexico but the friendly people of San Felipe more than make up for it.
